I'm beginning to look at leaves this year. I mean really look at them. Each one is as different as a snowflake. Today'a Big Picture photo prompt is about making changes and letting go. Letting go is difficult and we need to do it at our own pace in our own time. So I looked to Mother Nature and found something that just wasn't ready to let go.
These dry leaves made such a lonesome, rustling sound in the breeze. Clearly they are going to fall, but they are just not ready. Some things cannot be rushed. So I am going to go about my day and remember to be un-rushed in what I do.
Take your time today. Look at those leaves. And, you know, those leaves are just a metaphor for whatever it is that we don't want to let go of.
